 Dr. Gregory Cobb
Dr. Cobb is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic certified by the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine. His education and training include Chiropractic Manipulation, Physical Therapy Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Sports Chiropractic.
Dr. Cobb became involved in chiropractic after suffering from debilitating back pain due to a work related injury. "The pain was so severe that I couldn't even drive myself to the doctor's office." The care and treatment he received allowed him to return to his active lifestyle within a reasonable time. "I wasn't even aware of chiropractic and was just amazed that I was relieved of my pain without prescription medication or without involving surgery! This was a life and career changing experience for me."
After his pursuit of a bachelor's degree through Hillsborough Community College and the University of Tampa, graduating with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Dr. Cobb continued with his education in order to provide quality care to those suffering with pain. He is a proud graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida. As a recent graduate, Dr. Cobb received his education and training with the latest in chiropractic research and technology. He keeps current with clinical chiropractic and medical studies with a strong interest in pathology and neurology.
In experiencing the healthy benefits of chiropractic both as a physician and patient, Dr. Cobb is expanding his scope and has completed his CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner) coursework and is now eligible for the certification exam. His interest brings him to this arena due to the many successes he has witnessed as athletes have discovered the use of chiropractic not only to rehabilitate their injuries but amazingly, to improve their game. His next endeavor is certification in Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Velocity testing (EMG/NCV) in order to expand his knowledge in treating injuries.
Dr. Cobb was born and raised in Tampa and lives with his family in Plant City, FL. He enjoys the outdoors, is an avid hunter and continues to cheer the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since he attended their inaugural win-less season back in 1976. Go Bucs!
