Meet Dr. Gregory Cobb
Tampa and Temple Terrace Chiropractor Dr. Gregory Cobb, is a lifelong resident of Tampa, and comes from a family of successful business owners who have been serving the Tampa Bay area since the early 1960s. He considers himself a down-to-earth and easy to talk to person who loves working with his hands and is passionate about helping people heal. It’s gratifying to see patients leave our clinic with substantially less pain and discomfort than they came in with!
A Personal Journey Through Pain
Dr. Cobb was introduced to chiropractic care after suffering a work-related injury that left him with debilitating back pain so severe he couldn’t even drive himself to get care. After receiving care, he could resume his active lifestyle quickly.
This experience changed his life and career. He continued with care and met Dr. Jeff Davis, a dynamic chiropractor, who inspired Dr. Cobb to pursue a profession as a chiropractor. While in school, he reinjured his back but could not find complete relief with chiropractic alone until he discovered Connective Tissue Release (CTR).
Discovering His Path
Dr. Cobb has now achieved Expert status as a MFR clinician with close to 500 hrs of training. It’s like he returned to school for another degree since it took him 10 years and almost 500 hours to achieve this status. With his education, training and thousands of hours working hands-on with patients, Dr. Cobb trains all of our Chiropractic Assistants and requires them to officially train in John Barnes MFR.
Discovering this path was a blessing as just two years later, Dr. Cobb had a total hip replacement and was diagnosed with cancer the following year. He attributes his quick recovery to CTR and chiropractic. He was back on the golf course days after his hip surgery and believes he would never have survived the months of chemotherapy and radiation while continuing to work and raise his son if not for CTR. These days, he’s golfing as often as possible without pain, and he’s thrilled to share that he’s cancer-free.
Sharing His Other Passions
Dr. Cobb and his wife have one son and a bunch of pets at home. He is a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan since attending every game during their 1976 opening season. His faith keeps him happy, strong and hopeful. “Love All. Serve All.”
